We know that an attractive website is the key for popularity of your website. If your website is attractive, then your traffic increases and more number of internet surfers’ visit your website which ultimately increases the traffic of your website. So keeping this thing in mind, we will discuss that whether using table layout in your website is more attractive or using div layout in your website is more attractive. I will try to give many reasons as I can to prove that using div layout is more attractive than using a table layout for your website.

The first reason that proves that div layout are more attractive than a table layout based website is that the redesigning of a website using table layout is slower as compared to the div based website. As, we are aware of the fact that the table based websites have a design mixed with visible data along with the content. Whereas the div designs have separate content and visible data, so it will be very easy for a web designer to redesign the website with different content and visual data because in the mixed version the web designer will need to redesign the content and the visual data separately. Besides being easy, it is also less expensive as compared to the redesigning of the website having table based version because the designer charge you on hourly basis. So it will take less time to redesign a website with div version as compared to the website with table layout versions.

Another important reason is that the website having div version gets more traffic as compared to the website having table layout version. As I have already told you that the traffic is the key in the popularity of any website. So getting more traffic is very important. It is due to the fact that the website having div layout version contain less junk amount as compared to the websites having table versions. And those websites who have large amount of junk is considered as spam in the search engines. And the smaller size of your website means that the people using SEO services will give a good look at your website.

The websites who are div based takes less time to be updated as compared to the websites who are table based. We know that the time is money in today’s world, so updating your website is always going on and never stops. As you will definitely want to save your time in this ongoing process, so choosing the div based websites is better than to select the table based websites.

Moreover, the websites which are div based are user friendly also. And such websites which are user friendly gets popular in a very short space of time which is in fact the key to get more traffic.

Both users and search engines likes pages that load fast. This is the best thing about a div layout. When working with divs, the code is significantly smaller then when is made with tables, and this leads to a smaller page, which search engines like.

After reading the above mentioned advantages of using div based websites, we can conclude that if you want to build your website, then it is recommended that you should build a div layout website rather than to build a table layout website. The advantages have been told earlier.  However, there are many more advantages as well. Another best thing is that it is not difficult to use. So if you are still using table layout website, then convert your website into a div layout website in order to get more traffic to make your website better for SEO.
