You must have heard about web indexing? If not then we will tell you abut it and a new and fantastic feature of Google too which is gaining popularity day by day.

Web indexing is the creation of indexes of web documents and of metadata subject keywords) to provide a good vocabulary to the search engine.

After months of testing Google has finally come up with a new functionality of new web indexing system called Caffeine. Soon you will be able to use it after proper testing by the authorities. It means 505 fresher results than before and new and updated information. The results are not only fresher but the response to the user’s query will be a lot improved.

Queries like posts, images, videos, real time news, forum posts and contents will be indexed at a faster rate by Caffeine and the search results be more relevant and according to the user’s requirement.

Google’s goal is to satisfy its users with best results and also to accommodate web’s growth.

The caffeine system is updated at a faster rate than the old system. The old one is refreshed once in two weeks but Google Caffeine is analyzed and updated continuously to ensure quality. Hundreds of millions of gigabytes of information is stored by the database of Caffeine which is a lot more than the old system. It takes almost 0.15 seconds in the regular Google search but Caffeine take only 0.09 seconds; a speedy feature which is making it a functional tool.

A new deal of fresh and new content will be seen by users. Old system crawls set of ages, process them and then are added to the index. The pages have to wait until the batch is processed and is available on Google. Caffeine processes the pages instantly.

Google Caffeine is updated so frequently that information can be changing locations daily. If you want some information at noon and have searched it, it’s better to save it because it might not be available at night.

This is how the Caffeine works: is storing a lot of information, processing them and making it available to the viewer at a faster pace. The results of Caffeine are better than the old system because of its own limitations. In old system the information was stored in the layers and is not frequently updated as that of caffeine. Secondly there was a gap between crawling, finding updated information and then indexing it. About the layers they were indexed in layers rather than globally and all parts were not updated together. In Caffeine the web crawls continuously in parts and globally and not in specific layers as that of old system. Information is indexed instantly and the process is throughout rather than performed at regular intervals. In this way new and updated websites find their space at the Google. 

Caffeine is a great step towards search engine’s optimization and Google is planning to have some more changes in future years. But one thing is for sure with all these functionalities Google still is the king of all search engines.
