This search engine optimization tip is good for your website for the following reasons:

As you probably know Synonyms are different words with identical or very similar meanings.

Nowadays, search engines are smart enough to tell that two different words mean the same thing. Not only this, but they love the use of synonyms because it makes the text more interesting to the readers without having the "spammy" and annoying look.

When you are using a lot of synonyms for your keywords, you should be very careful with the keyword density. While your SEO tools most probably will not recognize synonyms as the same words, search engines will do so. In this case, your keyword density will be bigger than you think and it may be interpreted as spam.

For example if you have an article about cars and you are using from time to time car marks keywords like BMW, Mercedes, Toyota or others, Google the biggest and the most used of the search engines consider all of those marks words as "cars". What I mean by this is if someone is searching for the keyword phrase "car for sale" your page can be found even if your keyword phrase is "BMW for sale". This is a good thing.
