In this Photoshop tutorial, you will learn how to write a text around a shape. Just follow the steps of this free Photoshop tutorial and you will see how easy is to write a text around a shape.

Let's use this shape to work on. Of course, the shape you use doesn't matter, the procedure is the same. You can use any shape you want.

Select the Horizontal Type Tool, the one you use to type a new text, and with the shape layer selected in the layers box, click right on the edge of your shape.

Your text will not be typed horizontal in a straight line. It will be typed on the margin of your shape. Like in the below image.

When you finished writing, select the layer of your text in the layers box and move it away from your shape. The final result can be seen in the next image.
